Ooops just made a tit of myself in the middle of the office by guffawing to loudly that everyone wondered what was so funny about the External Envelope Details I'm supposed to be drawing.

It was amazing how Thom kept his cool when Michael just couldn't get the idea about Time paradox let alone Quantum Mechanics, I think I would have punched him in the puss! (or stormed out, more likely option) yet then Thom started to get more and more impatient sounding as Michael kept wittering on!

Superb stuff well done and despite it all, it's very informative. I now know how to cross a road in front of bazillions of mopeds

Dunno if you remembered that in this podcast you correctly predicted that Wacko Jacko would die, just not of weirdness exactly more in slightly weird / dodgy way.

Cheers Jeremy - glad you enjoyed the podcast! Definitely looking forward to seeing the Trap's Reunion Show - it's only going to be me (Michael) heading along on Saturday though.

I'll try and say some random funny words into a microphone and wing them over in time for the 10th Event Horizon Crescent spectacular! If you're really unlucky, Thom might do the same... particularly as I've told him the answer to this week's Unwin quiz. I think.

Hello to you to there
Jeremy here from off of the Trap. Great podcast. Thanks for the shoutout! You also inspired me to check out oflife on Twitter. I see one of his tweets ends "Oink-choo"; that must've been in his capacity as 'apparent' joker. But I don't get it.
Please send more Boyd mp3s or indeed anything at all if you've a mind to; I'm afraid your next appearance will be underscored by Bartok but you'll hear why.
Look forward to seeing you at our show next week!

Dunno how I came to have subscribed to your podcast, just found it in my iTunes today. As I'm approaching 50 years old I'm guessing it's what is called a "Senior Moment"

Quite agree about the ridic slow walking in city centres but my other half takes not slow walking to far. She must have been a marine before I met her cause yomping is just not necessary if you ask me

Getting your hands on Scandium sounds a tad challenging from Wikipedia it seems it is most abundant in the Sun!

Keep up the good work you made me smile... a lot

Hi Yedna,

Sorry if I got a bit carried away ;)

I played with Howard back in 99, and only in Europe, so if there was a bassist on those gigs, it wasn't me.

cheers!

I'd thought I'd heard Steve mention he'd toured with Howard Jones. I've seen HJ twice here in New Hampshire in the last four years. I wonder if he was on those tours.

Still, it's not often that we have guests on the podcast, and Steve's a fascinating man. Seemed a shame not to let him talk :)

Holy crap! The first half of this show was great. I especially enjoyed the Twitter/tech & pop music conversations. Steve seemed to run away with the second half of the show a bit. Don't get me wrong, he was extremely interesting, but I would've liked more Thom in the last 30 minutes.

(this is thom)

Michael was well enough to go to Morocco, so I don't think there's any need to feel too sorry for him! And no, he informs me he was never a smoker. I, on the other hand...

And thanks, I could certainly think of a few things I'd like to mention about all of them - I'll add them to the list for future weeks!

Sorry to hear about Michael's sludgy tummy. I was surprised to hear he was never a smoker. Maybe I'm listening too closely, but I'd always thought him a smoker due to his occasional throat clearing.

Loved the Matthew Mcconaughey ripping. You guys should choose a different, leading actor on a crappy films hot streak to discuss every show. Here are some suggestions: Robert De Niro, Owen Wilson, Michael Cera, Dane Cook, Eddie Murphy.

You know what's odd? The file now shows up on my iPod. However, when I attempt to play it, I get pushed back to the previous menu.

I had a similar issue with a movie last week, but found the problem had occured because I had tried to sync the flick before the initial connection sync had completed.

Nope. No error messages. I can see the file when I drag and drop it, then it just disappears. No transferring arrows etc.

I ended up trying to transfer Mandibles again just to make sure it wasn't me and it went over fine.

I'll probaby just end up listening to it via this page on Friday.

We haven't had any problems with it, and we didn't do anything different with the file this time, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Are you getting any error messages?

If the problem persists, you can try downloading it straight from here, or, of course, in a last resort, you can listen to it streamed off this page...
